In the May 23 edition of Newsweek, there’s an interesting article about a new computer game called "Spore" in which the player begins as a single cell and grows/evolves to create animals, people, tribes, societies, war, peace – you get the idea. (Now, May the Force Be . . . Us page 68).
The article’s author, N’Gai Croal, asks the question, "What kind of diety would you be?" At least this game is honest about the proposition of being/playing God. In so many other aspects of our lives, we don’t ackowledge the fact that we put ourselves in God’s place everyday.
So, the question – "What kind of diety would you be?" or, what kind of God are you right now?
